Bats against Bugs
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I led a community service project focused on public health and environmental sustainability. I designed, built, and installed 20 bat houses across local parks and recreational areas to help combat the spread of the Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) virus by naturally controlling mosquito populations.
This project involved coordinating volunteers, securing materials and permits, and managing timelines under strict health guidelines — demonstrating leadership, problem-solving, and project management under pressure.
